Mini Skate Spot - FB PLAZA

Exploring Th!s FB’s New Cement Fingerboard Park Build in Lakewood, Colorado 🛹🪨 Lakewood just leveled up for fingerboarders! Th!s FB — the only dedicated fingerboard shop in Colorado — teamed up with Mini Skate Spot to create a brand-new cement DIY fingerboard park that blends creativity, craftsmanship, and pure fingerboarding fun. These guys are true masters of combining 3D-printed fingerboard parks and obstacles with cement, resulting in some of the most realistic and durable setups you’ll ever ride. The best part? Spot hunters V1 - skatelife

Welcome to the first episode of Spot Hunters! In this series, I’m checking out real-world skate spots and seeing what works for skateboarding and what works for fingerboarding. For this episode, I started in Arvada, Colorado and tested out a fresh spot by my hood. Even though I had a pinched nerve in my back (old man problems 😅), I still managed to snag a couple skate clips and get creative with my fingerboard. 👉 Expect a mix of street skating energy with the fun, creative twist of fingerboard lines at the same spots. I plan on going to spots with friends as well, so if you want to make an episode with me hit me up! 👉 Follow along as I explore more spots, push my skating, and show how fingerboarding connects with real street terrain. If you’re into skateboarding, fingerboarding, street spots, or creative sessions I hope you appreciate a 41 year old's perspective of skateboarding and raising a family! 📌 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to follow more Spot Hunters episodes and all my art, skate, and fingerboard content.

Top Secret tool!

🎨 In today’s video, I pulled an older painting off my wall and decided to give it new life with some airbrushed shadows and depth. I fire up my dual action airbrush with a compressor and start adding detail that completely transforms the piece. With an airbrush, you can push down for air and pull back for paint, giving you incredible control over shading, blending, and texture. 💨 If you’ve ever wondered how an airbrush works or why artists love them for creating smooth gradients, extreme shadows, and high-impact highlights, this video will show you the process in real time. It’s quick, easy, and one of my favorite tools to finish and refine paintings. 🖌️ I also show a bit of my studio lifestyle—from painting to fingerboarding, it’s a creative space where I get to do everything I love. Having a setup where art, skateboarding, and experimentation come together keeps the process fun and inspiring. 🔥 Whether you’re an artist looking for tips, curious about airbrush painting techniques, or just love watching artwork come to life, this video will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how I use airbrushing to finalize a canvas.

Graffiti with my friends!

Come paint with me — this video follows the entire process of creating a massive graffiti mural on the side of El Toro Mexican Restaurant, a well-known spot off Colorado Boulevard in Denver. I teamed up with some of my close friends to bring color, style, and energy to the wall, blending street art, graffiti lettering, and large-scale mural techniques into one bold piece. This was a very old wall that we painted about a decade ago and are finally come together to repaint the entire wall! As an artist under the name @Pager.One (Tristan Minton), I’ve been painting murals and graffiti for years — from walls and canvases to commercial projects and community collaborations. This project at El Toro was all about connecting graffiti culture with local businesses, creating something that both celebrates street art and brings new life to a Denver landmark. But most importantly to me I get a whole day to hang out with my friends and be creative! In this video, you’ll see: The full painting process from blank wall to finished mural Graffiti techniques, color blending, and large-scale spray paint work Behind-the-scenes moments with the crew and friends The energy of working on a major street in Denver This mural represents more than paint — it’s about community, collaboration, and keeping graffiti culture alive in Denver. If you’re into street art, graffiti murals, spray paint techniques, or large-scale wall painting, this video is for you. 📍 Location: El Toro Mexican Restaurant, Colorado Boulevard, Denver CO 🎨 Artist: @Pager.One , @nicebeats , @lineminder , @chrishaven Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more graffiti murals, art projects, Skateboarding, and behind-the-scenes content from the Denver scene and beyond.

Painting a fingerboard park DIY

In this video, I’m taking you through my full process of painting a fingerboard spot to make it look super realistic! 🎨🛹 This started as a simple project where I wanted to paint one obstacle in my park, but once I saw the difference, I realized I had to go all-in and paint the entire park to match. Let’s be honest — bare cement can look a bit flat and basic. So, I broke out the paints and brushes to bring this fingerboard spot to life. I used a light wash of grey as my base coat to give it that true concrete vibe. Then, I mixed in some black to mimic the grind marks and waxed areas that you’d see at real skate spots.

To finish it off, I added subtle white highlights for extra depth and texture, making the surface pop and giving it that weathered, street-realistic look. Throughout the video, I show you the specific brushes and painting techniques I used — from dry brushing to light washes and detailing — so you can follow along and apply this to your own fingerboard obstacles or park. Whether you’re painting a ledge, manual pad, or any cement DIY spot, these methods will help elevate the realism and vibe of your park! Once I finished painting, of course, I had to grab a few clips to break in the new setup!

🔥 Nothing beats seeing your freshly painted park come to life in video. If you enjoyed this tutorial or learned something new, let me know in the comments! I’m hyped to keep painting my park and next up I’ll be adding graffiti details to the spots for even more character. Fingerboard event re-cap - reefer maddness

In this video, I take you inside the fingerboarding event held at Reefer Madness in Denver, Colorado, where Ryan Hashby and the Foul Fingers crew teamed up to host an amazing monthly gathering for fingerboarders and skateboard enthusiasts alike. The event featured a variety of exciting activities, including fingerboard parks, vendor booths, exclusive store deals, and a fun-filled fingerboarding competition with the chance to win awesome prizes. To get into the event they take toy donations so they can hook up family's in need for the holidays! I love that aspect and had to bring some tech decks to donate to the toy drive! Unfortunately, I had to leave before the contests began, but it was still an incredible time connecting with old friends and meeting new faces from the fingerboarding community in Colorado. As a business owner and a family man, it’s tough to balance time between running my business, spending quality moments with my wife and daughters, and attending these events admist tryng to paint and be an artist. But I’m definitely planning on hitting up more of these events, both locally and globally, and I’ll be sure to share them with all of you in future videos! Thank you all for the continued support, and huge shoutouts to Tristan Minton, Pager One, and Royal Stain for making this happen! ~ Tristan Minton ~ Pager One

PROS, Ams, and Friends - skate Colorado streets

I found an amazing old edit I made of a ton of Friends, Pro's, and Am's skating in Colorado! Every one from David Reyes, Ernie Torres, Kyle Nicholson, Manny Santiago, Julian Davidson, Mike Mark, Josh Murphy, Ryan Lybarger, Toebach Crew, Jesse Mondragon, Alex Latwan, Angel Ramirez, Trevor Uriona, GGSpliff, to name a few! This is pretty old footy I have no idea of the time frame I shot all this footage. I'll have to look back at the skate clips to figure the dates. Raw street skateboarding, mostly in Denver colorado. I shot all of this skate footage on a Canon Rebbel T3i. I was one of the first in colorado shooting in HD and I took all the flack for it lol. But it's nice to look back at old footage and it's not all grainy and still looks pretty good to todays standard. Thank you all for watching, should I post more old street footage? ~ Tristan Minton ~ Pager One ~ Treez
