Air-brushing a skateboard!
This one started as a full-blown summer garage sale day — kids running a lemonade stand, stuff everywhere, sun blasting, and me trying to sneak in some time to paint a skateboard with the Let’s Resin airbrush paint set. I wanted this video to feel real because that’s exactly how most creative days actually go. You don’t always get the perfect studio setup, perfect weather, or perfect schedule. Sometimes you’re painting in the driveway while the kids are selling lemonade, the garage sale is going on behind you, and you’re just trying to make something happen before the clouds roll in. I got a good chunk of the skateboard painted outside in the sun, tested the color, flow, coverage, and how the paint handled through the airbrush.
Then Colorado did what Colorado does — the weather turned fast — so I had to bring the whole project back into the studio and finish it under better control. Huge thanks to Let’s Resin for sponsoring this video and sending over the paint to test. I’ve been trying to push more art, painting, skateboards, fingerboards, and real creative process videos on this channel, and this was a fun one because it mixed real life with the work.
