Thorton CO skate park - slocum

I linked up with Julian Christianson at Slocum Skatepark in Thornton, Colorado — a brand new park connected to the rec center — and it was an absolute heater of a day. No clouds, no shade, right around 100 degrees, and still somehow the session happened. This wasn’t some heavy planned-out video or full production day. We were really just out there warming up, checking out the new park, feeling out the spots, and stacking a few clips while trying not to melt. Slocum has that fresh park feel. new concrete, clean lines, and a setup that has so many possibilities as a skatepark.

Julian, being Julian, made everything look way too casual even in the middle of a brutal Colorado summer day. We kept it loose, filmed some warm-up lines, messed around with the park, and captured the kind of session that feels like hanging out and skating a park just going with the flow.
