Commerce City park

Today we’re skating Pioneer Park Skatepark in Commerce City, Colorado, and we brought a full crew. If you love manuals, ledges, technical street skating, and finding lines with your friends, this park is a seriously fun spot. For Manny and ledge skating, it’s one of my favorites in Colorado. What made this session even better was getting to skate with Gershon Mosley. I grew up watching Gershon skate, and it’s so dope that I can now call him a friend and roll with him. Having him out with the crew brought a whole different energy to the day.

Pioneer Park Skatepark has 16,900 square feet of concrete and a mix of street and transition terrain. The street side gives you plenty to work with if you like putting together manual and ledge lines, while the transition side has its own character, including an over-vert capsule. We came out to explore the park, film clips, and enjoy a full day of skateboarding with friends. I’ve been skating for decades, and sessions like this still get me hyped. It’s not just about landing a trick for the camera. It’s about the conversations between tries, watching your friends skate, and leaving with a few clips and a good story. If you’re looking for skateparks near Denver or planning a Colorado skate trip, put Pioneer Park on your list—especially if Manny pads and ledges are your thing.
