Th!s FB Throwdown

ingerboarding, custom parks, competitions, and a full day of family fun! I finally made it to the seventh annualTh!s FB Fingerboard Throwdown, and brought my family along for my first time attending this event. The shop brought together its lineup of quality fingerboard products, a ton of event sponsors, and a community of people ready to hang out and skate.

From experienced fingerboarders throwing down technical tricks to families checking everything out, there was plenty to enjoy. One of my favorite parts was how much there was to do beyond the fingerboard competitions. They had family-friendly games like bags, fingerboard bowling, and other creative challenges that anyone could jump into, even without knowing how to fingerboard. It made this feel like a community party where you could bring your kids, meet people, and have a good time together. Of course, there was plenty of fingerboarding! Best trick and best line competitions gave riders a chance to show their creativity, consistency, and technical skills. There were additional competitions throughout the event, too.

We couldn’t stay for the entire day, but we caught some of the action and got plenty of sessions in while we were there. I also brought the fully custom fingerboard halfpipe I built so other people could try it out. Getting to share something I made and watch people find their own tricks on it was a highlight. Other attendees brought their own fingerboard parks, ramps, and obstacles, which meant there were all kinds of new setups to skate. That’s one of the coolest parts of a fingerboard meetup: getting to ride something you’ve never seen before and seeing the creativity people put into their builds. Alongside the parks and competitions, there were food vendors and vendors selling art, knickknacks, fingerboard gear, and more. Between the sponsor support, shop products, handmade obstacles, and local vendors, there was a lot to explore. This video captures our visit to the seventh annual Throwdown: fingerboard sessions, custom parks, competition highlights, family-friendly games, and a look at the people who make this community so fun to be part of. Whether you’re into tech decks, professional fingerboard setups, DIY fingerboard ramps, or just curious about your first fingerboarding event, come hang out with us! Big thanks to the organizers, sponsors, vendors, and everyone who brought a park or helped make the day happen. Stoked we finally got to attend!

I think it's the community and skating new parks is the best! Shout out CUBE aka Mike at Th!s FB as he is the one who makes this all possible!
