Acrylic display and point-of-purchase design sits at the intersection of creative direction, industrial design, and engineering. Creating successful retail displays isnβt just about making something visually appealing β itβs about designing structures that are manufacturable, durable, functional, and capable of communicating a brand clearly in a real retail environment.
When working with overseas factories, precision becomes everything. Language barriers and production differences mean your files, technical layouts, and build instructions need to speak for themselves. The more detailed and production-ready the design package is, the better the final product will turn out in manufacturing. Every measurement, material callout, assembly detail, and render plays a role in making sure the vision translates correctly from screen to production line.
My role extends far beyond simply designing the display itself. I work directly with clients to develop the creative direction, refine the customer experience, engineer displays for production, and communicate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure execution stays aligned from concept to completion. Itβs a crossover between branding, production strategy, and real-world manufacturing knowledge β all working together to create retail displays that not only look premium, but function flawlessly in the real world.
